When I first started writing, I was having a hard time with figuring out the plot structure I wanted to use. Then, I took the time and thought about the characters involved in my story. I thought about my protagonist and what he was going through in this story. I realized that maybe he was not on a normal journey; he was a Hero’s Journey. And on his journey, he would be questing for various things along with his crewmates and their journeys would align in a similar fashion.
